The ideal time for a newborn photography session is within the first two weeks after birth—typically between days 5 and 14.
During this time, babies are still wonderfully sleepy and naturally curl into those familiar, womb-like poses. This makes it easier to capture their delicate features and peaceful expressions in a calm, unhurried way. It’s also a beautiful window when your baby is still so new, yet you’re beginning to settle into your rhythm as a family.
That said, every baby—and every journey—is different. If you need more time, that’s perfectly okay. My approach is gentle, flexible, and baby-led. We’ll create meaningful images no matter the timing, with love and intention guiding us.
