Beautiful Father’s day 2017

Especially on this beautiful Father’s day 2017, I wish I had that one picture I have in my head of my husband sleeping with my daughter on his chest, the very first night she was born at the world famous Ronald Regan UCLA Westwood hospital. I wish I could show you how natural this picture looked. Both exhausted ( and I too tired to even take that picture) and yet determined to be as close as possible to each other. He knew to be a father better than I would have guessed how to be a mother and in that sense I have learned so much from him. Today is he celebrated by three perfect children, who make him the best dad on the planet.

To all the Fathers out there, I see you and honor you. I am humbled by the tenderness with which you love your partners during the journey that make you both parents and the sweetness of your emotions when you first meet your babies and that I get to witness behind my camera, is truly what we need to make the world a gentler place.
